Changes from v1.0.3 - section 6:

  • Old text: ebXML does not require the use of Business Process and Information Modeling to achieve its objective. However, if implementers and uses want to benefit from the advantages of using UN/CEFACT Modeling Methodology (UMM), then they SHALL use the UN/CEFACT Modeling Methodology (UMM) that utilizes UML.
  • New text: Business Process and Information Modeling is not mandatory. However, if implementers and users select to model Business Processes and Information, then they SHALL use the UN/CEFACT Modeling Methodology (UMM) that utilizes UML.
